So we're talking about prison guards investigators and administrative back up from the AG's office the populate that create the pension and welfare checks air and wet inspectors and that's just the very top of the list. I'm sure it's a very tiny blip in the day of a Senate (and House) Republican.

I'm egest of blaming the Republicans. I'd like to appraise them for doing good things for the express but they are giving me too few opportunities to change surface believe they are thinking logically. and
thinking logically. They are thinking ideologically: any tax = economic losses. In reality as per JM Keynes if tax money is spent on stuff there is really not a loss. In the context of express government since the jobs created by government essentially stay here it is a pretty good basis for a "surprise" on consumer bespeak and thereby spurs private businesses in Michigan. But a few hundred extra dollars per year to the wealthiest Michiganders can go anywhere--a new BMW jewelry investments abroad etc. It is less likely to stay in Michigan and create local economic growth. But taxes is bad. BAD--always and evermore. AMEN! So sayeth fear Reagan.
How about marching to Lansing and setting up a mock guillotine on the state Capitol grounds?
I vote for state Sen. Mike Bishop to be the first to "go". Who needs layoffs when there are more permanent job destruction options available?
