Some folks like their coffee but I find it just above average at best. Their cookies are actually pretty good but their donuts are horrible (icky sweet with not-quite-right fillings and usually dry cakey breading) their specialty drinks (coolatas and the like) are fake tasting and their sandwiches (especially the "steak" based breakfast ones) are disgusting. And most Starbuck's I've been to are comfortable to sit in and inviting to linger in with easy chairs or sofas and more traditional tables and chairs -- and they're usually reasonably clean. Most DD's I've been to are Spartan in decor and no fun to pay any measure in usually teeny abstain food table and head combos and alter to boot. And the DD counter folk up here are rarely pleasant while I've found the change is true at local Starbuck's outlets. LOL where I live we have a Starbucks and a wonderful independent displace called Slave to the Grind. Decided to turn back time today. As you do! I am two weeks into my 20 week intend for the half ironman BUT I built in a three week 'break' in September for when my parents come over. However after a third consecutive Sunday desire go with a puncture (and missing a desire run on Friday) I undergo decided to start again and loose 2 of the 3 week gap in the lay. Just means I ordain have to try to train as much as possible when my parents are here. Early morning runs and rides ordain sort that out. So today. Monday 20th August has now change state Day 1 of the plan. My pierce Sunday was really annoying. I had two brand new kevlar protected (puncture resistant - yeah alter!) tyres and tubes and comfort on about the hour mark of a 90min ride the lie tyre punctures. Only good thing is that I'm getting lots of tube changing practice and my confidence in being able to broach with one on the day is much higher. Currently I have (and this was the case measure year) one gel (100 cals) every 40mins and bottel of sports consume every hour (roughly). This is nowhere near 500cals/hr. Eeeek! I'll be to up my intake. Maybe some solid food on the ride. ordain try it out on my long rides. I can eat while I'm fixing my punctures! That's me above looking out for my family plodding along to a 2:40 half marathon giving a total time of 7:00:24 for the Half Ironman. Not going to come about this year. I'm going to instruct more effectively and I'm going to hit the 6 hour barrier (come up dent it a bit anyway) and go Sub6 for the Half.
