I was working paying for food electric cable. & since they were so busy... I was doing all the cooking & house cleaning as well. I had been a single Mom since the kids were 3 & 1 years of age. It was not an easy road. Now it was my time. Not only that the prices I was paying for an apartments I knew that in 2 yrs I would be cash even & all I'd have to pay is lot rent which is far less expensive. So now if it blows away in a hurricane after 2 yrs well..... I've lived very inexpensivley for 5 years. My 'Park Model" is larger than a trailer you see people pulling behind their cars a motor home or even a 5th Wheel. But not as large a mobile home that many of the retirees live in. Although it's licensed with Motor Vechicle it is only mobile to a degree. With it's size and weight it can only be towed by a very large truck. It does not have the holding tanks or an auxiliary battery back up system. I do use propane for the stove. For heat I use and electric oil radiator since electric is included in my rent. It is 45 feet long x 20 feet wide... has a regular size refrigerator & apartment size stove. 19 1/2" and double stainless steel sink. A full size tub (trailers have showers only) regular porceline toilet (trailers have small plastic ones) in the bathroom. The living room area. 15x15 is carpeted with bluish green Berber. Which is terrific because the sand in Florida rips throught he fibers of carpet. The kitchen & bathroom have light linoleum. The bedroom. 10x15 has green carpet. Most trailers or motor homes have small inefficient stoves and ovens. Most of the time I use the toaster oven or microwave. When I feel like a real meal there's the grill or in the winter months I make soup or stew in the crock pot on the patio. The paneling has a white wash effect and is halfway up the walls in the living room. And the walls white with a light tan design. In the living room the design is a striped effect the bedroom a large fern imprint. The kitchen and bathroom have wallpaper small clusters of pink & purple tulips with stems & leaves. The curtians throughout are cream color with white sheers and light green valances. Storage is the largest obstacle as the doorways were too narrow for my dressers. The two closets in the bedroom have mirrored sliding glass doors. The set of doors on the right open to reveal my summer clothes. The ones on the left the winter clothes and shoes. Under the closets are drawers for jammies t-shirts shorts etc. The bathroom also has closets where I keep my towels sheets and blankets. Underneath are more drawers where I keep my bathing suits socks and "lady thangs". This is convenient for when I get out of the shower. I poof & powder & I have undies or a bathing suit at fingers tip. (hmmmm... TMI?) Right now my kitchen cupboards are overflowing. Time to organize! But in order to do so I'll have to take everything out of the cupboards. Things like baking soda and salt will need to go. So will any mixes flour oats or cream of wheat. Salt gets clumpy. Baking soda no longer "soda's". Mixes flour & cream of wheat may have those teeny tiny spiders. I have sugar and anything that may attract ants in airtight containers for if an ant can find it.. they will. A few years ago my son's company lost a government contract he hurt his back lost his job was in a car accident told the cops he was driving because the buddy he was with didn't have a license he ended up paying for that stupidity and moved in with me. He asked if he could stay with me using the day bed in the living room. I shared the back room with my younger brother him on the bottom bunk me on the top.. then my brother stayed in the mini travel trailor his last two years of high school.. good thing he wasn't into drugs and such.. well enough of my story...
