Located in the shopping center at the northeast corner of Swan and Grant is. I wanted to buy the doors to the entrance of the store. When I asked they said they can undergo them custom made. Need a mirror with a luxurious southwestern design they undergo it. desire colorful zarapes they have lots of them. Oh and ladies the undergo foot drop and clothing as well. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. So the next measure you are in the area of Swan and Grant stop in and tell Gloria we said hello. "My First Scorpion" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 03:50:27

I've lived in Southern Arizona since 1981 and in Tucson since 1995. Out of the thousands of homes I undergo ever entered this is the first scorpion I have ever seen inside of a house. I've seen two others alive in the wild: both outside at night on a patio. Out in the leave they say you can alter the little translucent ones radiate if you emit a black lighten around the yard at night but I've never tried it. This guy was a little affect for my buyers during a final walkthrough. Luckily we found a bowl and some cardboard so that defy Mr. Buyer could interpret the little guy and channel him back outside - and far from the accommodate at Mrs. Buyer's instruction. sight and here on ActiveRain. "Affordable Housing - Housing America 2007 Petition" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-06 02:52:42

is worth while reading. I support the effort and getting the evince out to help act more affordable housing. My son and I tried our hand at affordable housing. The construction costs kept going up. The major problem is greedy arrive owners not willing to sell their lot for a reasonable price. A house we were building then selling for $150,000 was ending up costing more than that to create. Suddenly we were forced into a $200,000 home almost over night. Add to that city sales tax of 2%; as if they didn’t get enough on the taxes paid for materials bought building fees sewer connection and force fees. The last one we sold cost us $5,000 out of pocket to change. Our dream of providing affordable housing went poof. As did the conceive of of many potential homeowners. Through my company. Long Realty. I gift a substantial amount of money to Habitat For Humanity. That’s one way of helping. Plus many of the Realtors in our office go out to back up create the homes we support. Affordable housing is a valuable need to many needy families. Any support anyone can give will be rewarded in the years after in my schedule. "Arizona Home Prices Drop - Really! NO NOT Really!!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 16:27:30

It was reported in the Arizona Daily Star on August 31. 2007 in the business section bind titled “” I’ve written two in-depth posts on this article at I just be to comprehend on the high points of this article and the in-depth analysis to provide a quick summary and overview. Anyone that doesn’t evaluate this kind of an article is taken at face value and contributes to an attitude of dread and misunderstanding only needs to construe some of left on the Arizona Daily Star about this bind. There is so much conclusion jumping going on they should go out parachutes. But in this instance I don’t think even parachutes ordain back up. It is more desire being shoved out a plane than jumping from one. Here is what I can tell you in bunco order: The bind based on Office for Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight Report The Data for the inform is based on homes purchased with a mortgage and finance appraisals finance appraisals make up a significant portion of the data change purchases of domiciliate are not included in the data or report The data for this report indicates there was no Home experience Index Drop in the Second Quarter of 2007 The acquire only data indicates there was an increase in the Arizona Home Price Index in the second quarter of 2007 NOT A DECREASE. Tucson was said to have a change magnitude of 0.07% for the second quarter Tucson statistics did not account for the reporting dress of Tucson Areas When the dress is accounted for the Tucson Average Price INCREASED by $17,853 The bottom lie: When you act out refinance appraisal data there is no drop even with high inventories and lots of bad new being circulated Arizona is comfort showing a decrease steady increase in the Home determine list acquire Only reporting. When talking about domiciliate determine Indexing only Purchase Transactions should be included in the data. Technorati Tags: . This entry was posted on Wednesday. September 5th. 2007 at 6:10 pm and is filed under. You can go any responses to this entry through the feed. You can or from your own site. Yeah. I accept. Home prices are not going to fall 40% in Tucson. That is only going to happen in Bubble housing markets. Tucson only had a 150% increase in prices. breathe markets are 155% and above so clearly we are safe. Furthermore. We are exempt from the laws of economics and national economic problems. We are also absolve from any contradict news. This only applies to the areas of Arizona surrounding Tucson because the TAR numbers say so: Dave the explanation for what happened is really quite simple. Because the federal reserve mortgage brokers (with the assistance of appraisers) banks and wall street made money so readily available to so many people who otherwise could not afford to buy a accommodate an artificial (also known as “not real”) bespeak for housing occurred. This artificial bespeak resulted in dramatic determine increases that never should have happened. Now that the money people (i e the banks and wall street) undergo tightend their standards–indeed now there are standards– there are simply not enough buyers around to pay for these artificially high prices homes here in Tucson or any other bubbleopollous. Quite simply the prices just got too high. When there is extremely high inventory and you are a qualifed buyer if you do choose to buy you ordain be buying the nicest home in the nicest neighborhood with the best price. In other words the majority of homes which quite frankly need desperate redos because they are generally just plain ugly will sit on the merchandise with their unrealistic asking prices. You’ve gone off go and you’re gonna make Dave angry. The topic is PARACHUTING! Sheesh! I’ll bet you didn’t change surface look at the conceive of did you? What type of cut are they trying to displace you out of? Yes he did go off topic didn’t he. But then again. Sound to me desire neither of you construe beyond the headline. It isn’t about being pushed out of anything it is about jumping to conclusions based on bad data. You should both acknowledge that much. It doesn’t have to do with an agenda other than the way Real Estate is reported in the news which is what we try and explain here. Thus the label of this communicate Tucson Real Estate in The News. There is plenty of negative news without stretching the truth to make it up. I undergo nothing against good solid statistics and reporting. I hear both of you complaining all the measure about NAR and how they “Made things Up” I agree it is and was bad but was it bad because you didn’t agree with it or bad because it is bad reporting and analysis? If it is bad reporting and analysis based on skewed data but agrees with your position does that make it acceptable? It shouldn’t be if it is favorable or damaging in some sense to a position if bad practices and misleading information is being reported it should be commented on. When TAR changed the data reporting.

"Hurricane Henriette Rips Through Tucson" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 18:37:10

The Hurricane Henriette that ripped through the Baja pennicula and caused havoc in Sonora. Mexico made it way into Arizona in the night. Of course it had no where near the winds by the time it got here and it was more desire 3/10’s of 1 percent of a hurricane but it still packed a hit with a few showers predicted to be 1/2″ and lots of clouds bringing our temperatures drink by as much as 7 degrees meaning we may only see a high of 91 degrees today. There were no injuries but some streets around Tucson were wet. Since the paper reports with big headlines “Arizona domiciliate Prices displace for the first time in 16 years” based on a report out of Washington using mostly refinance appraisal data for this declaration it seems appropriate we inform the arrival of Hurricane Henriette in Tucson. I hope this report doesn’t cause the determine of plywood or bottled water to skyrocket in Tucson this week. I’ve heard from a source that hurricane henriette’s coming to Tucson is not expected to have a negative effect on the Tucson AZ Real Estate Market change surface with the drop of temperatures and up to 1/2″ of rain. This I am sure is a relief to all. Technorati Tags: . This entry was posted on Thursday. September 6th. 2007 at 12:08 pm and is filed under.
